The Official Listening Party for Urb Garden Music recording artist, Joy Dennis will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Duke’s Place Blues Bar & Lounge. The event will feature all of the new music from Joy’s highly anticipated upcoming sophomore album entitled, “The Listening Party”. The party will be hosted by special guest host DJ Frances Jaye of Neosoulcafe.com.

Joy’s special guests and backing vocalists, Kiaya Cash and Shekinah “She’Glo” Alston as well as Bassist Cary Jordan (Fusebox Funk) are all slated to perform a few songs with Joy throughout the night. DJ Al Pete will close the evening.

Soon after, Frances Jaye decided to learn to DJ and the rest is history. She was the tour DJ for Proctor & Gamble’s My Black Is Beautiful Tour for 3 years, and is currently on her 5th year of spinning on the Capital Jazz Supercruise.
